Getting started
How long does it take to get set up?
Most shops are live the same day. Create your account, walk through a quick shop setup, and you're in the dashboard. There's no data migration required before you can start your first work order.
Do I need to import my existing customers before I start?
No. Add customers as they walk in, or bring your existing list in all at once with the CSV import on the Customers page.
Is there a trial, or do I need a credit card to sign up?
No credit card is required to create an account and start using LubeFlo.

Is there a setup fee?
No setup fee to get started.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no long-term contract.
Data & security
Is my shop's data private from other shops using LubeFlo?
Yes. Every shop's data is walled off at the database level, not just hidden in the interface. One shop can never see another shop's customers, vehicles, work orders, or payment records.
Who can see my shop's data internally?
Access within your shop is scoped by role. You control exactly what a manager, technician, or custom role can see and do from Settings, under Roles & Permissions.
How is payment information handled?
We don't store card numbers. Payment details are handled by our payment processor, and we only keep a record of the transaction itself: the amount, the method, and a reference number.
Hardware & compatibility
What devices does LubeFlo work on?
Any modern browser. Desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. It's built and tested for iPad and tablet use on the shop floor specifically.
Do I need special hardware to scan barcodes or VINs?
No separate scanner is required. Barcode scanning uses your device's own camera, and VINs can be typed in directly or looked up from a plate.
Can staff clock in on a shared device?
Yes. Kiosk Mode turns any tablet into a shared clock-in station for staff, without each person needing their own login open.

Is there training for new staff?
LubeFlo is built to be self-explanatory for day-to-day use. Starting an order, checking a bay, and collecting a payment all take a few clicks. For anything role-specific or workflow-specific, reach out and we'll walk your team through it.
